Let's Talk Belly

Arvilla's preschool teacher this morning: "When are you due?" (told her) "Wow! You look great for being that far along!"

My Chiropractor this morning: "You're still so tiny!" (Female Chiropractor, if that changes how you read that at all).

Lady doing a story on my Chiropractor for the Spectrum who interviewed me: "I cannot believe you're that far along, you look 6 months!"

Lady at church on Sunday: "You look like you're about ready to POP!!!" (I think she was trying to offer me a ride to the hospital.)

Okay, so why do I believe the last comment the most? Maybe it's because my mom taught me not to be vain. She needed to include "but it's okay to feel good about yourself" because I didn't quite get that part out of the lesson. Don't get me wrong, I think my pregnant belly is cute... but when every piece of clothing I own is super tight, and when I can barely get my shirt to meet my pants (maybe they don't like each other) I can't help but feel a little.... big.

So here I am (as of yesterday):

Remember when that shirt fit more like this? And I wasn't wearing maternity pants, and they were baggy on me?

You probably don't even believe it's the same shirt, huh?

Enough about me, look how cute my kids are!

Clark isn't taller than her... yet. He was just sitting higher on the couch.

I love it when they wear their sweats, I love it when the get along, I love it when they both say "cheese!" with the biggest smile they can muster, I love it when they are content watching their Dad play Zelda. These two are going to be awesome siblings to the new baby, I just know it. :)

I know you feel huge babe, but you look so cute to me! You always look just like the woman I married in my eyes: rockin' bod with rockin' legs :) Hang in there and it'll all be over before you know it, I promise.

Our kids seriously are so cute, aren't they? Especially in their sweats :)

Look at that cute belly :) You are supposed to get bigger - you know because you are about to give birth here soon. I think you look just the right size. I know that being the pregnant one that you don't feel cute and little but from the outsiders view you do. Keep up the good work and take it easy.
And I can't believe how big Clark looks in that last picture. I think he will be bigger than Arvilla really soon. They sure are cute!

That's funny, Clark does look older than Arvilla in that picture. :)

I think you have a cute pregnant belly.

Juli, you look adorable! Whatever size you think you are! (I happen to think you look about six months along.) I'm so excited to see your tummy growing and the pics of Clark and Arvilla just reminded me of how amazingly irresistibly adorable this little one will be too! So sad I'm missing all of it though. Love you!

You still do look good, but I can definitely relate. I think people think that they're telling you what you want to hear when they say you're small. And your kids are for sure going to be wonderful siblings, I can tell!!!

Two weeks ago I would have maybe said you were looking like you were about to have the baby...but after seeing another friend of mine, you still look like you have a long ways to go.

Way to go on #3!! Sooo excited for you!

You do have such a cute belly! Believe it or not, I was so much bigger! So yeah, you look about 6 months along to me if I judge from my own belly lol. Why no face in the photos?

awe! You look cute no matter the size of the belly :) I'm going to have to remember that maybe my shirt and pants just don't like each other, lol.
Love your kids. They sit so nicely with their arms around each other, awe. My kids end of tackling each other if an arm is attempted around one or the other.

You do look great! Seriously!
I know the feeling, though, during the last few weeks. It's like, why do I even bother putting on clothes? I get out of breath trying to get them on. Soon enough you'll be back... in your early pregnancy clothes. :) Enjoy being obviously pregnant! I feel like I need to wear a sign that says "I have a new baby" so people don't just think I'm a slob. Ha. But really.

You are adorable! And not huge. And it looks like Clark has dimples. I love it!! You know, you are one of the few people who I can honestly say that when you brag about how cute your kids are and post pictures of them, I actually like looking at them. HA! True story.
