Pictures, Cute Kids, and Congrats!

Aren't my kids cute? And isn't my husband so handsome?

Several weeks ago I was waiting in the car with the kids while Tom was picking up some take out. Arvilla was wondering why we were getting food because she and Clark already ate dinner. I told her it was because Mom and Dad were going to have a date at home after she and Clark went to bed....
Arvilla: That's not a date!
Me: Yes it is, we're going to eat yummy food and watch a movie.
Arvilla: In the living room?
Me: Yep.
Arvilla: Oh so you're going to pretend to have a date with daddy in the living room.
The next morning she sarcastically asked me how our date was. Her little sense of humor totally cracks me up. Now she makes Clark sit with her in the living room pretending to eat food and will say "we're pretending to have a date mom!"

I just wanted to mention that my brother Andy won this year's Utah Film Commission contest. Good job Andy (and Claire). I'm so proud. :) Here's his entry:
